BOSH Names Frank Byrum as Chief Scientist

September 23, 2010

Newport News, VA - BOSH Global Services (BOSH) has named Frank Byrum as its chief scientist.  Byrum, a graduate of Old Dominion University with both bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science, brings to BOSH's Engineering and Technology Sector a broad background in technology development and software engineering, having served in a number of related posts.  He assumed his new position on July 12th.

Chief Technology Officer Matt Twiggs brought Byrum onboard to spearhead the expansion of BOSH's Engineering and Technology Sector into new technology markets.

"Frank came along at exactly the right time," said Twiggs.  "The new technology services we're providing require someone with focused expertise who's unafraid to take calculated risks.  Frank's that man."  Byrum's previous research and development experience and his focus on cyber operations and systems design were instrumental in the company's decision to name him to the position.
