BOSH Supports “Backpacks to School”
September 23, 2010
Newport News, VA - BOSH Global Services (BOSH) recently helped over 100 disadvantaged Hampton Roads students to begin the 2010 school year with backpacks full of classroom supplies. Through The Lamb House at the Psalms Ministries "Backpacks to School" initiative, BOSH employees were on hand to help distribute the packs and serve hot dogs and hamburgers on August 28th. This effort reached a record number of Hampton Roads students this year, with a total of over 500 backpacks distributed.
Susie Martin, who co-founded The Lamb House with her husband Rich and now serves as its executive director, expressed her gratitude to BOSH co-founders Robert and Shelly Fitzgerald at a presentation the day prior.
"We are so blessed to have friends like BOSH," said Martin. "These backpacks make such a difference in getting these children's school years started off on the right foot."
