UAV Comm awarded Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Contract
Newport News, VA August 25, 2006 — UAV Communications (UAV Comm) announced today that it has been awarded a contract with the Air Force’s Special Operations Command (AFSOC), Hulburt AFB FL.
UAV Comm was awarded a contract to provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Predator Operations Center (POC) personnel to provide communications architecture for a SOF Mobile POC (MPOC), communications andPhoto courtesy U.S. Air Force Arizona Air National Guard network design, and video distribution system. UAV Comm’s SME’s will develop a transition plan for the 3rd SOS transition to permanent facilities at a location to be determined and provide the infrastructure equipment integration planning to support programming facility design meetings and Site Activation Task Force (SATAF) activities.
