Video Hub

Different end-users of the video require various levels of video quality and resolution to ensure that information is sent quickly and accurately to meet their needs. At the Video Distribution Hub, video is digitized, compressed, encoded and encrypted and then transmitted in real-time to three core groups of video consumers--Analysts, Commanders, and Field Units. Each of these end-users have different requirements and receive video prepared specifically to meet their needs.

A Launch and Recovery Element, or LRE, is where a pilot and payload operator launch and land the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). Click to learn more. The satellite communications (SATCOM) terminal serves as the downlink point for all beyond line-of-sight (BLOS) communications between the Ground Control Station (GCS) and the unmanned aircraft.
